About The Ark Meditation Center
The Ark Meditation Center (TAMC) will be a community-based center for the teaching and practicing of Buddha Dharma and mindfulness or vipassana meditation. We offer Buddhist teachings in clear, accessible and open-handed ways.
Guided by Teacher Yu, ATMC offers a broad range of programs and community activities. These include weekly meditation sessions and dharma talks (talks on Buddha's teachings and practice). In addition, we offer introductory classes in mindfulness meditation, youth programs, Buddhist Diet seminars, year-long study programs and residential meditation retreats.
TAMC welcomes anyone and everyone who has an interest in the teachings and practices we offer. We aspire for our community to represent the wide range of diversity found in our society. TAMC is intended to be a spiritual home for everyone who practices here.
TAMC does not require payment for any of our teachings, programs or events. The support of our teachers and center expenses is done through voluntary donations from the community. We are inspired by how effectively mindfulness practice unfolds when it does so in a field of goodwill, generosity and gratitude.
TAMC is a center of gathering of individuals who meet to learn and practice Buddha Dharma and mindfulness. Currently, the guiding teacher is Teacher Yu.
We are a non-residential center. The center welcomes everyone to come in, listen to the talks, and meditate. Namo Buddha!
